Core Equipment: Wire Forming Machine & Strap Buckle Press Machine
The old-fashioned machines on both sides of the picture are automatic wire forming machines (also known as buckle making machines), specially used to process metal wires (such as iron wire, stainless steel wire, and copper wire) into common wire buckles for luggage, such as D-rings, square buckles, tri-glides, adjuster buckles, etc.
The wire rack on the right is loaded with full rolls of metal wire. The machine automatically feeds, straightens, bends, cuts, and welds (on some models) to produce complete wire buckle parts in one process, with high efficiency and good consistency.
Typical Production Process
Wire Preparation:
Select metal wires of appropriate diameter and material according to product specifications, and install them on the wire rack.
Straightening & Feeding:
The machine automatically straightens the wire and feeds it at a set length.
Bending & Forming:
Bend the wire into the shape of the buckle (such as D-shape, square shape) through molds.
Cutting & Welding:
Cut off excess wire and complete welding for buckles that require connection.
Inspection & Transfer:
The formed wire buckles undergo initial inspection of appearance and dimensions, then are sent to downstream processes including polishing, electroplating, or assembly.
