Material & Packaging Features
All goods on the shelves are small hardware parts, such as D-rings, square buckles, rivets, chains and lock fasteners. They are packed by specification and model in transparent plastic bags or wrapping paper with labeled stickers for quick identification.
Cartons stacked on the top layer are mostly finished outer cartons marked with model, specification and customer information, which are packed orders waiting for delivery.
Materials are placed in separate zones by color, plating finish (silver, gold, etc.) and size to avoid mixing different items.
Shelving & Warehouse Management
Heavy‑duty blue angle steel shelves are adopted with multi‑layer design to maximize vertical storage space, ideal for storing a wide variety of small and medium‑sized hardware SKUs.
Each shelf layer is posted with category labels (such as “Zipper Pulls” shown in the picture). Goods are divided by product category following the common ABC inventory management method in hardware factories, enabling fast order picking.
Cartons placed on the floor are batches waiting for warehousing or delivery, which helps reduce repeated handling.
Industry Adaptation
This type of warehouse is standard for luggage hardware factories. With numerous item models and specifications, zoning management, clear labeling and standardized packaging are essential to prevent shipment errors and material mixing.
Since hardware parts are prone to oxidation and rust, transparent packaging provides moisture and dust protection. Desiccants are also added for products with higher anti-rust requirements.
